Singing your way to the voters heart

23 Apr

Want to win the hearts of voters but don’t know how? Take a leaf from Barian National’s parliamentery candidate for Bukit Bintang Frankie Gan as he sang his way to woo voters.

Gan, as seen in the video below belted out a Chinese song with the help of two back up dancers.

The shenanigan did not stop there as it is revealed that he also recorded a CD that is to be given out during his campaign. Classic hits such as Love is in the Air by John Paul Young is butchered to the delight of squealing fans.

We strongly believe that Youtube should consider allocating Frankie a Vevo Channel of his own!

When pilots strike in India

15 May
You are on holiday. You expect a seamless transit in India. And wham! Your flight is canceled!

An Air India plane

It is reported that at least 14 Air India flights have been canceled as a strike by Air India’s pilots enter it’s seventh day on May 14.

Thousand of passengers are stranded at Delhi and Mumbai airports, many of whom were not informed of such occurrences.

We question what Air India can do for its passengers during such dire times. Many a times, airlines will not offer you a replacement ticket by another flight to your preferred destination.

Consumer rights clearly demand that every penny paid earns them the right to make a fuss over such matter.

If I was a passenger of the airline and was caught in such situation, I would

1) Make a big fuss and demand for a ticket on the next plane to my initial destination.

2) Should I be able to defer my trip; total refund of my ticket paid.

3) An explanation and suggestions offered by the airline on what else can be done to help remedy the situation.

Ever felt that your rights were being abused? Those thousand over passengers of Air India sure knows that feeling.

Did you see it?

8 May

Another rare occurrence happened over the weekend when millions of people risk neck injury as they crane their vertebrae and look out into the sky for signs of the Super Moon.

Yes, you’ve got it. The Super Moon. It is the closest the moon gets to Earth for a year at a mere 356,953km from the Earth. And that took place on May 5th, 2012.

We preferred to watch from a safe angle but tonnes of photos cropped up over the internet and here’s our top pick.
